What up guys!
Firstly, let me thank you for taking the time to even consider reading this. I am not a celebrity, I am not a guru. I am not even a fitness professional. I am … a bloke! A slightly chubby bald bloke who doesn’t want to be the same guy for the rest of his life. I like to think one of the main reasons you are still here is that you can relate somewhat. I have a proper dadbod- I don’t even have children! I guess one of these reasons I am writing one of these blogs is for me, being accountable of my life and guarding against complacency. Another is kind of an exploratory one, can I do something that not only positively affect my physical health but also my mental and ‘spiritual health’.I am going to be documenting my life mainly around the gym and sports etc and other things and see how much better I can make myself while still being me. If you wanna strap in then feel free to! If you want to talk about your experiences, issues and challenges then thats great too!
One of the main reasons I wanted to do this is because I want to do my bit to address the growing mental health problem with men. I don’t mind talking to people about my mental health and the issues wherein and if this blog gets people talking too then mission accomplished! Being a modern man is an illusion, what even is a modern man? I consider myself a man yet I cannot seem to operate a paintbrush without lowering the ceiling by about 6 inches! There will be a lot of things discussed in this blog and I am open to talking about it. However, there will simply be no room for hate, racism, sexism, and any other kind of prejudice. There is enough of that in the world without it being here too!
